.NET 2025 Conference: Building Agentic AI with Azure OpenAI

On February 12, 2025, Radya Labs, in collaboration with Microsoft Indonesia, successfully held the .NET Conference 2025 at the Microsoft Indonesia office, Jakarta. The event carried the theme "Building Agentic AI with Azure OpenAI" and brought together various technology players, developers, and innovators from various industries to discuss the latest developments in artificial intelligence (AI), especially Agentic AI.

Opening by Microsoft Indonesia

The event opened with remarks from Irving Hutagalung, Microsoft Area Engineering Lead, who introduced Microsoft Copilot as an AI solution for business transformation and productivity improvement. He also explained the Microsoft AI Platform, including Azure AI services, hardware infrastructure, data centers, and more than 1,800 AI models that support change across industries.

Exploration of AI and Its Application in Business

The first session was presented by Hari Bagus Firdaus, Co-founder of Radya Labs, who discussed the journey of AI evolution from generative AI to Agentic AI. Hari explained that Agentic AI is the next stage in artificial intelligence, where AI not only responds to commands passively but is also able to adapt and make decisions based on context.

Hari also discussed various applications of AI in the business world, including how AI can help improve operational efficiency, provide data-based insights, and automate various processes that previously required human intervention. In addition, Hari highlighted how the AI ecosystem developed by Microsoft makes it easy for companies to integrate AI technology into their systems.

Live Coding: Building Agentic AI with Semantic Kernel & Azure

After the concept presentation session, the event continued with a live coding session hosted by Rudi Hartono, CEO of Radya Labs. In this session, Rudi demonstrated how to build Agentic AI using Semantic Kernel & Azure.

Rudi showed how Semantic Kernel can be used to build AI that is more contextual, understands complex instructions, and is able to adapt to user needs. By using Azure OpenAI services, developers can easily access and implement sophisticated AI models without having to build infrastructure from scratch.

This session attracted the attention of participants because it provided a direct understanding of how to build AI that is not only smart but also adaptive and able to execute tasks more autonomously.

AI Training for the Future

The last session was presented by Alfan Hidayatullah, CTO of Alkademi, who introduced the AI training program that will be held by Alkademi. In his presentation, Alfan explained the importance of AI skills for professionals in the digital era.

This training is designed to help participants understand how AI works, develop effective AI models, and integrate them into various business solutions. With this training program, it is hoped that more talents will be ready to face the challenges and opportunities in the world of artificial intelligence.

Enthusiasm of Participants and Closing of the Event

Throughout the event, participants actively asked about various technical and strategic aspects related to AI. Many of them were interested in adopting Agentic AI technology in their businesses and projects.

The event was closed with an interactive discussion session and a group photo with all speakers and participants. The presence of industry leaders, developers, and innovators at this event is proof that AI is increasingly developing and ready to be widely implemented in various sectors.

Radya Labs would like to thank Microsoft Indonesia and all the participants who have participated and made this event a success. We hope to continue to collaborate and support the development of AI technology in Indonesia.
